For process engineers
Materials we have published cutting data for.

One process chain, many materials.

Our cutting data is published by workpiece material, not by industry label. Below are the material groups covered by the 2026–2027 catalogue, the tool families that serve them, and the finishing consumables that follow the hole.

Part numbers

Material groups in the cutting data

Printed pages 59 and 60 of the catalogue give spindle speed and feed for these groups. The table below is the index to that data, not a substitute for the part-number geometry.

Tool families that serve them

Micro drills
Solid carbide micro drills, coated and uncoated, from 0.03 mm. 8,260 part numbers on record. Filter this family
End mills and routers
Micro end mills, flat-bottom cutters and engraving tools. 342 part numbers on record. Filter this family
Reamers
Helical carbide reamers for finished hole size and surface finish. 229 part numbers on record. Filter this family
Special and custom geometry
Step drills, spotting drills, coolant-through drills and non-standard forms. 2,886 part numbers on record. Filter this family

What happens after the drill

Resin overflow after plugging, burrs after mechanical or laser drilling, copper nodules after plating, oxide conditioning and press-plate cleaning are all finishing steps. They use brush rollers, endless belts and non-woven consumables configured to the width and core of your line.

Common questions

Do you supply tools for materials not listed above?

Yes. Send the material grade and the operation. We check the production record for a matching geometry first, then propose a custom grind if there is none.

Do you supply implants or certified medical devices?

No. We supply cutting tools and abrasive consumables only. We do not supply implants and do not claim device certifications. Geometry and inspection method are confirmed per part number in the written quotation.

Can I filter the catalogue by coating and diameter?

Yes. The part-number catalogue filters by family, series code, coating and diameter band, and shows the full geometry callout for every match.

Send the material and the part number.

We reply with a written specification, a held tolerance and a date for samples.
